The Shakespeare Open Forum is an opportunity for creatives to explore a piece of text they are working on in front of an audience of peers.
This could be an audition monologue, a speech by a character you’ve always wanted to play, or some text that pushes you out of your comfort zone.
The workshop is a chance to play Shakespeare in front of a supportive audience, receive feedback from fellow professionals, and a chance to rework the piece in the moment with help from the room.
Five or six performers will work per session, selected at the beginning of the session. Observers are very welcome. If you plan to work please have your text learned in advance to get the most out of the workshop.
The Shakespeare Open Forum will be hosted at the Tron Theatre from Autumn 2016 and facilitated by Artistic Director Alasdair Hunter and Artistic Associate Terence Rae.
